The Vaccination Demand Hub
The Vaccination Demand Hub is a network of partner organizations innovating together to understand why people miss out, to improve acceptance and uptake of vaccines, and to ensure that everyone everywhere is protected against vaccine preventable diseases.
The Hub aims to increase the uptake of vaccines by ensuring that parents, caregivers, communities and other key in-country stakeholders actively seek out immunization on time, trust the safety and efficacy of vaccines, and value immunization.
Their objectives are:
- Reduce the burden of vaccine-preventable diseases by increasing, maintaining, and protecting high coverage of vaccination demand across the life course
- Enhance equity and quality in program design and service delivery, to optimize vaccination uptake, and reduce drop outs
- Meet the goals and strategic priorities of the global Immunization Agenda 2030 and set the agenda and metrics for immunization acceptance and demand in the next decade, including GAVI 5.0, Global Vaccine Safety Blueprint 2.0, polio transition planning and post-certification strategy, measles and rubella initiative (M&RI) strategy
