The purpose of the manual is to provide basic, easy to use, and quick information across the range of topics that organizations need to be familiar with at different stages of a PHE program cycle. This manual drew on member experience with designing and implementing Population, Health and Environment (PHE) projects/programs. The manual was established in response to member and partner demands for information to help PHE practitioners implement project activities.

Maternal Infant and Young Child Nutrition and Family Planning (MIYCN-FP) Integration Toolkit

This toolkit is a strategic package of resources to guide program managers at implementing organizations, advocates, and decision makers through the processes of piloting, implementing, and scaling up integrated programs and advocating for policy change. These resources include: up-to-date global and country-specific background and reference materials to inform advocacy and assist with the design of evidence-based, state-of-the-art programs; job aids, curricula, and other tools to increase the effectiveness and quality of program activities and services; and, publications that detail key implementation processes and lessons learned.

Inclusive Social Accountability (ISA) Framework

Counterpart International’s Inclusive Social Accountability (ISA) developmental framework integrates elements of social inclusion and community accountability into one comprehensive approach. It is designed to be mutually supportive at every level — educating and allowing informed citizens to effectively hold their governments accountable, while simultaneously building the capacity of governments (and where necessary, their private sector partners) to deliver quality social services that are equitably distributed. The framework includes the building blocks of the ISA approach along with a number of methodologies that can facilitate its implementation.

Health of People and the Environment in the Lake Victoria Basin (HoPE-LVB): Resource toolkit

The Health of People and the Environment in the Lake Victoria Basin (HoPE-LVB) toolkit is a collection of resources that was developed to promote “a complete status of well-being” of individuals and families by converging activities related to the three sectors of population, health and environment.” The HoPE-LVB toolkit was created using the lessons learned and best practices from the project.

This Care Group repository contains information, presentations, tools, curricula, and results reports regarding Care Group programs. The guides review how care groups are formed, how care groups are used to reduce child deaths and results from using various Care Group models.
