Verified is an initiative of the United Nations, in collaboration with Purpose, to provide content that cuts through the noise to deliver life-saving information, fact-based advice and stories from the best of humanity. it is an initiative to encourage everyone to check the advice we share. Users register to receive trustworthy COVID-19 information, fact-based advice, and human-interest stories.  

COVideo19 is an initiative led by Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health students aimed at providing science-based, social media friendly information on COVID-19 in multiple languages. The students are part of the Digital Health Society, the student arm of the Johns Hopkins University Global mHealth Initiative.

This Field Manual was developed by GOAL for GOAL community mobilizers implementing the Community-Led Action (CLA) approach to reduce the spread of COVID-19 in their communities. GOAL is an international humanitarian and development agency, committed to working with communities to achieve sustainable and innovative early response in crises, and lasting solutions to poverty and vulnerability.It can also be used by other organisations who wish to implement the CLA approach as part of the COVID-19 pandemic response.

The Gender and COVID-19 Research Project aims to conduct real time gender analysis to identify and document the gendered dynamics of the outbreak and gender gaps in preparedness and response measures, providing immediate guidance and recommendations to those crafting policies and delivering public health interventions.

Community-Based Health and First Aid (eCBHFA) volunteers are a community’s first line of defence in the midst of the global COVID-19 epidemic.  This guidance is for active eCBHFA volunteers working with vulnerable groups at the community level to help keep people safe, informed and at ease as the pandemic progresses.
