This Message Toolkit was designed to help the Department of Health (DOH) staff, local government stakeholders, non-government organizations, international organizations and others to communicate consistently and effectively about COVID-19. It is a one-stop-shop for all messages about COVID-19.

This Risk Communication and Community Engagement (RCCE) Guide serves as a guide for community health workers (CHWs), volunteers, and social mobilizers in communicating with people on COVID-19 and helping them protect themselves and others from the virus. This guide contains importance of community engagement during health crisis, how to talk to people in the community, how to protect yourself and others while on duty, and key messages that need to be conveyed to the community and to specific audience groups. 

Community Health Workers (CHWs) in Mozambique are known locally as agentes polivalentes elementares (APEs). While technical guidance surrounding COVID-19 is available to support APEs, communicating this information has been challenging due to restrictions on travel, face-to-face group meetings and training, imposed from May to August 2020.

Thr Communication for Health project, the flagship Social and Behavior Change Communication (SBCC) project was implemented in Ethiopia from June 2015 to December 2020, with funding and technical support provided by the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID). CCP and subcontractor John Snow, Inc. (JSI) partnered with the Federal Ministry of Health (FMOH) and regional health bureaus (RHBs) to build the health system’s capacity in SBCC and implement innovative SBCC interventions to improve the health practices of individuals and communities.

This package of print materials was created to raise awareness about Undetectable=Untransmittable (U=U) among men who have sex with men (MSM) in Ghana.

These tools were created to support providers, peer educators, and other program staff to integrate U=U messages into their outreach activities with female sex workers (FSW) and men who have sex with men (MSM). The tools include a flipchart and informational booklet and are complemented by client-facing materials for each audience.
