This is a free, publicly available course entitled Understanding the COVID-19 Pandemic: Insights from Johns Hopkins University Experts. This course is set up as a series of short modules to explore the COVID-19 pandemic. The course begins with a discussion of the virus that causes COVID-19 and works its way to the pandemic’s broader implications for society.

Village Hope Core International works in collaboration with the Ministry of Health and along with the Kenya Red Cross and Plan International are training their community health workers with these materials. Village HopeCore has reassigned their handwashing stations from schools to health facilities and are working on other solutions such as telemedicine, digital communication and other community-based interventions.

This is a pocket guide for religious leaders, to serve as reference when they discuss health issues with their congregations.  As they deliver guidance to their followers/congregations, this guide provides them with key messages mainly on maternal and child health, child feeding practices, sanitation and hygiene, and malaria.

Suaahara was a five year (2011-2016) project funded by USAID aimed to improve the nutritional status of women and children in 41 districts of Nepal. Suaahara developed and implemented the integrated Bhanchhin Aama (“Mother knows best”) cohesive platform which involved multiple sectors (Nutrition, Agriculture, WASH, Health Service Promotion, Family Planning), linked Suaahara partners, government and others, and had multiple messages for every target audience (pregnant women, husbands, newly married women, mothers-in-law, etc.).
