This comic book is based on a radio story that NPR education reporter Cory Turner produced, asking experts what kids might want to know about the new coronavirus.

This is a gentle story written by a teacher and mother of four that helps explain, prepare, and helps prevent the spread of coronavirus. It is appropriate for teachers and parents to help explain the virus and put it into context for young children. Suitable for primary and preschool aged children.

Meena is a cartoon character from South Asia, a spirited, nine-year-old girl who braves the world – whether in her efforts to go to school or in fighting the stigma surrounding HIV/AIDS in her village. Meena is widely recognised and appreciated in most South Asian countries, and is a successful advocacy and teaching tool for girls’ and children’

The term "RH supplies" refers to any material or consumable needed to provide reproductive health (RH) services. This includes, but is not necessarily limited to contraceptives for family planning, drugs to treat sexually transmitted infections, and equipment such as that used for safe delivery.

The Brothers for Life campaign was launched in South Africa in 2009 to address the risks associated with multiple and concurrent partnerships, sex and alcohol abuse, and gender based violence and which also promoted HIV testing, male involvement in PMTCT and other health seeking behaviors.

This guide is part of the VMMC Communication Toolkit which was developed to create and sustain demand for Voluntary Male Medical Circumcision (VMMC) and reinforce that, while VMMC reduces risk for men, it does not prevent HIV and must be combined with other prevention behaviors to be effective.
