For decades, social and behavior change communication (SBCC) has been used in malaria programs to positively influence behaviors around case management, malaria in pregnancy, insecticide-treated nets and indoor residual spraying.

Suaahara was a five year (2011-2016) project funded by USAID aimed to improve the nutritional status of women and children in 41 districts of Nepal.

This Toolbox was conceived as a resource for UNICEF staff and partners to support a range of essential knowledge exchange activities in development for children. The flexibility, relevance and accessibility of the tools have inspired us to share it publicly in order to maximize its impact and potential benefit.
